Hero MotoCorp today announced that it will increase the prices of its motorcycles and scooters from July 3 as part of the price review process.
The price increase will be around 1.5% and the exact quantum of the hike will vary depending on specific models and markets, Hero MotoCorp said in an official statement.
The company sells motorcycles like the HF 100, HF Deluxe, Splendor+, Splendor+ Xtec, Passion+, Passion Xtec, Super Splendor, Super Splendor Xtec, Glamour, Glamour Xtec, Glamour Canvas, Xtreme 160R, Xtreme 160R 4V, Xtreme 200S, Xpulse 200 4V and Xpulse 200T 4V.
Among the scooters offered by the company are the Pleasure+ Xtec, Xoom, Destini 125 Xtec and Maestro Edge 125.
“The upward revision of the prices of motorcycles and scooters is part of the price review that the company undertakes from time to time, keeping in mind various factors like price positioning, input costs and business imperatives,” Hero MotoCorp said.
“Hero MotoCorp will continue with innovative financing programs to minimize the impact on the customers,” it added.
The company pointed that the onset of monsoon in most parts of the country and overall economic indicators bode well for a growth in demand and industry volumes are expected to pick up leading into the upcoming festive season.
Earlier this month, Hero MotoCorp launched the Xtreme 160R 4V 2023 in the price range of Rs 1,27,300 to Rs 1,36,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle employs a 163cc 4-valve air-oil-cooled engine, which develops 16.9PS of maximum power and 14.6Nm of peak twisting force. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
