The government on Friday said that the world is witnessing the fourth surge in Covid cases and sounded caution against lowering of guard amid the year-end festivities.
Addressing a weekly briefing on the Covid cases situation, the Union health ministry urged people to follow Covid-appropriate behaviour and ramp up vaccination.
