Bollywood actor Sonu Sood denied his intention to join any political party ahead of the upcoming polls in Punjab. The actor, however, announced his sister’s decision to enter politics.

When asked which party Malvika Sood will join, the actor said, “Party is not important but the policy is. My sister will serve the people and society.”

He, however, added, “Both AAP and Congress are good parties.”

Sonu Sood, who had earlier met with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, confirmed that he will also meet Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Sonu Sood appealed to the people to support his sister Malvika Sood.

ON HIS SERVICE TO PEOPLE

Talking about the recent Income Tax survey at his properties, Sonu Sood called it “a testing time” but said that it “will not impact my service to people”.

The actor said that his team will arrange free dialysis for the patients.

He also extended his support to the farmers. Sonu Sood said, “I support farmers. They should be given their right. We eat because of them.”

On being asked why he was not considered for Padma Shri, which was recently conferred on actor Kangana Ranaut, Sonu Sood responded, “This is a question of thinking.”
