Honda Cars India’s next important launch in India will be the Honda Elevate mid-size SUV. It is a global model and will be unveiled in its production-ready form next month. Here are some important details we know about the upcoming Hyundai Creta rival.

The Elevate will reportedly make its global debut on June 6. India will be the first market to get this SUV. The Elevate will be launched in India before the commencement of the festive season.

Price in India

We expect the Elevate to be priced in the range of Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Rivals in India

Apart from the Hyundai Creta, the Elevate will take on the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.

Honda Elevate Features

The Elevate will get a good front with a bold grille, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillamps, 17-inch alloy wheels and an electric sunroof. The cabin will be loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charger and ventilated seats are expected. There will be ADAS as well.

Honda Elevate Specifications

The Elevate will employ the 1.5-litre VTEC DOHC petrol engine, which produces 121PS of maximum power and 145Nm of peak torque. This engine does duty on the Honda City as well. The transmission options will include 6-speed MT and 7-speed CVT. We also expect the SUV to get a strong hybrid powertrain from the Honda City e:HEV.
